Defined by Mistakes
Your mistakes do not define you, how you deal with them does.
You do not have to feel upset or even shame for the bad choices or mistakes of your past. The awareness of how these choices made you feel indicates who you are as a person. Morally (or otherwise) bad choices or decisions that make you feel bad, demonstrate that you are actually a good person. Good choices or decisions that make you feel good, also indicate that you are a good person. Bad choices or decisions that make you feel good, do not necessarily mean that you are a bad person. It only indicates a possible issue with your belief system. Good people may do bad things. That is a fact of life.
