It is unfortunate that people in our "civilized" society are faced with these struggles. Thousands of Canadian children are raised in homeless or poverty environments. Most of their parents would do anything and everything they can to provide for their child. The love between a parent and child is a bond that transcends any socio-economic status. Pure happiness for this father comes from the smile on his daughters face when he is able to provide her with a meal.
