My Why - Tyler's Story

Mental health and addiction often go hand in hand. This story is incredible evidence of a life distorted by it. We must change the conversation and reduce the stigma for those struggling with mental health and addiction to feel safe enough to seek help and recovery.

His life has been transformed and he has found purpose with Residents in Recovery. His program champions the cause of individuals marginalized by mental health and addiction issues, by providing judgement-free access to a safe, supportive, and therapeutic recovery environment. It is Tyler’s dream and labour of love built from a lifetime of experience with mental health and addiction issues.
