Opinions Masquerading as Thoughts
In many cases, opinions are nothing more than judgments masquerading as thoughts.
These days, everyone has an opinion, about everything and everyone. Are these opinions nothing more than judgments? We pass these judgments off as our own thoughts and views and therefore they should have no impact on anyone else. Really though? If it is a judgment of someone or something, how can it not impact them? It is a bias and therefore simply having it will affect our attitude towards it or them. As such, our behaviors and actions towards the item or person will be affected. Call them what you want but opinions are nothing more than judgments for the most part. Sometimes it is best to keep your opinions to yourself.
